Product description
POLI BOILER is a concentrated, polyphosphonate-based conditioning chemical for steam boilers, formulated with an organic catalyst and a defoamer to prevent scale formation.
It is dosed continuously at the deaerator or feed tank outlet. Its chemical structure remains intact up to the boiler and reacts only in the presence of hardness salts. The polymers and dispersants in its structure keep newly formed deposits in suspension so they can be removed easily through bottom and surface blowdown.
In highly alkaline and heavily fouled systems, its defoamer helps steam to be drawn off cleanly.
Application: initial dosage 100 g per ton of water; the maintenance dose is adjusted to keep 3-5 ppm phosphate in the system.
