Product description
A new-generation, catalyzed sulfite-based corrosion inhibitor developed for steam boilers. In a single product it combines oxygen scavenging, scale (deposit) prevention and cleaning, and alkalinity control.
It is dosed continuously into the system at the deaerator or feed-tank outlet. If a dosing pump is used, it should be diluted with cold soft water. The initial dose is 150 g per ton of water, and the maintenance dose is kept so that a 20–40 ppm sulfite excess is maintained in the system.
Dosage is adjusted according to the operating conditions of the system. Since the product can absorb atmospheric oxygen, its container should not be left open for long periods.
