A low-toxicity, broad-spectrum residual insecticide containing deltamethrin that acts rapidly by contact and ingestion with lasting effect.
Product description
Deltavek 5 SC is a broad-spectrum insecticide based on the active ingredient deltamethrin from the synthetic pyrethroid group, acting rapidly on target pests by contact and ingestion. Pyrethroids have very low toxicity in mammals, do not accumulate in tissues and are excreted in urine; they degrade quickly in soil and water.
It can be applied with any type of spraying equipment in enclosed areas such as apartment blocks, dormitories, hospitals, schools, restaurants, bakeries, hotels, slaughterhouses and barns, as well as in open areas such as landfills, sewers, septic tanks, parks, gardens and streamsides. Its effectiveness against flying and crawling pests is recognised by the World Health Organization (WHO), and it leaves no odour or stain on treated surfaces. Treatment is best carried out in the early morning, at sunset or at night.
Application: for surface spraying in empty enclosed areas, make up to 5 L of water: 40 ml of product for mosquitoes, 15 ml for houseflies, 60 ml for cockroaches, 24 ml for fleas and 20 ml for ticks. Residual effect lasts approximately 90 days.
