An SE-formulation larvicide with 5% pyriproxyfen that halts larval development through a juvenile hormone analogue, effective for up to 30 days.
Product description
A larvicide containing the active ingredient pyriproxyfen. Pyriproxyfen is an analogue of the juvenile hormone that regulates insect development; when applied to the larvae's environment it mimics their growth hormones, halting larval development and causing them to die before reaching the pupal stage. The product contains 5% active ingredient.
Its special SE formulation increases the effectiveness of the pyriproxyfen active ingredient, providing more effective and uniform control. It is used at breeding sites against mosquito, fly and chironomid larvae.
Application: at mosquito breeding sites, dilute 1 liter of product with 249 liters of water and spray; at fly breeding sites, dilute 0.5 liter of product with 1499.5 liters of water. The application interval is about 30 days. Doses should be adjusted to the target pest and area in line with the label.
