Product description
Difluvek 20 OD is a larvicide in the IGR (insect growth regulator) group, formulated to control mosquito and housefly larvae. It acts on larvae through ingestion.
The product inhibits chitin synthesis during the moulting stage, blocking the formation of the exoskeleton. As a result, larvae die before they can develop into pupae, interrupting the reproduction of mosquitoes, sandflies and houseflies.
Thanks to its improved formulation, it offers higher efficacy compared with conventional formulations. The active ingredient content is 20%.
Application: For housefly larvae control with a knapsack sprayer, 1 litre of product is made up to 959 litres of water; the mixture is applied at about 1 litre per square metre at a dose of 0.5 g a.i./m², and the treatment is repeated every 30 days.
