Effective: QAC-Based Environmental Disinfectant

Product description

Effective is a QAC-based (quaternary ammonium compound) environmental disinfectant that cleans, disinfects and deodorizes surfaces contacted by bacteria and viruses. It is used on all water-cleanable surfaces, floors, walls, woodwork, equipment, furniture and ceilings, as well as in hospital toilets and kitchens, industrial facilities, schools, restaurants, municipal buildings, hotels, food-processing plants and homes.

It is easy to use and active in all types of water, requiring no shaking and leaving no soap suds. It controls both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella typhosa. Its penetrating and emulsifying action keeps loosened dirt in suspension and leaves no residue.

It is an effective deodorizer that eliminates sources of bad odour in clinics or businesses without leaving a chemical smell. It is highly active against fungi and controls mould on floors, walls and ceilings. It is also recommended for disinfecting oil deposits and cooling systems.

Application: A solution prepared at 1/30 with water is sprayed or wiped on so as to thoroughly wet the surface and repeated every 7 days to maintain control. A 1/50 dilution is used against Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The general dilution range is 1/10-1/300, with a pH of 6-7.
