Product description
Prox Gel is a pickling gel that removes welding, rust, corrosion and heat-treatment stains on the surface of stainless steel products (grades 303, 304, 309, 310, 316, 321, etc.). The passive layer that protects stainless steel is degraded by thermal and mechanical processes and must be regenerated within a short time.
Once welding stains and other surface contaminants are fully removed by chemical means, the passive layer reforms. Prox Gel supports the formation of this layer.
Application: Wipe the area to be treated clean of oil and water-like stains with a cloth. Shake the container until the gel is homogeneous and apply it to the stained area with a brush. Leave it at room temperature for 15-60 minutes for the reaction to take place, then wipe the surface and rinse thoroughly with pressurized water. Used directly.
